Bob Ezrin was Alice Cooper’s producer and good friend; together they created all of Alice’s biggest hits. Upon completion of The Welcome To My Nightmare” Album, both Bob and his partner Jack Douglas expressed how much they loved our work and the cover we had just completed for Alice.
They asked if I would design a logo for their newly formed company “My Own Productions." Drew got the nod on the finish, and still to this day, every time I look at this illustration it amazes me how much of an airbrush feel he was able obtain with just a graphite pencil and a blending nub.
I did some really cool lettering that went along with his illustration, Drew and I always worked good together because there was a total respect of ability and value that each of us was able to provide the other with… at a professional level.
