It was a beautiful LA summer day when Drew and I drove out to Topanga Canyon together to meet with Canned Heat and shoot some scrap for the cover we had just designed for them. The group loved the concept and had no problem when we asked them to strip to the waist. After the shoot, Bob “The Bear” Hite showed us his vinyl collection, of over 30,000 thousand albums, that literally wall-to-wall, filled his two bedroom guest house… entirely.
